Happy Halloween peep! I got to tell ya! I have a ghostly night! It was heavy rains, scary thunder storm and all hell breaks loose when the Halloween ghost decided to cut our power off!
So I spend Halloween with candle light dinner, my Blackberry and my MacBook doing nothing but slept early.
Anyway, here some updates on the Boulevard Shopping Mall in Kuching. While the second phase is under construction the current 3rd floor and rooftops are ready for business. You must at least give it a visit, you will get a little bit of Jusco feels and the air conditioner on top floor was really refreshing and cool! (I mention it because that was really the case! hahahaha wow rooftop! And it’s cool! Not an easy task but yeah, they cool the whole place!)
The 3rd floor they call it Boulevard City Mega Store while the rooftop they call it Sky city. I hope I didn’t get the name wrong after all it already confusing enough! You have got city inside a building? Wow where did that come from?

Video featured “boulevard more shops open” I think by now many of you have visited Boulevard Kuching? Especially if you live in Kuching you had already started your weekend routine between Boulevard and tHe Spring. With the 2 giant malls, life in Kuching has change tremendously! No more the “boring” mood from yesteryear where families and friends use to experience the bird chipping in the morning and get annoy by the neighbor’s dog barking in the afternoon. Life was just so plain back than! I can still smell the coffee, the few adorable big branches tree that given the comfort of shade and windy afternoon where the communities play their favorite pass time game, Chinese chess!

I spend my Christmas going back to Boulevard Kuching. I didn’t get the chance to window-shop the hypermarket the first time I go. Boulevard Hypermarket is really huge and I can see that Kuching peoples were so into it.
It’s been a week since it opening and the traffic is still a mess! Please do be considerate, don’t block the traffic If you planning to go there this weekend. Well, police traffic will be there to make sure you get the ticket hahahahaha.
Here’s what I think about the Boulevard Hypermarket Kuching
Dirty (They need to clean up the floor – all the time)
The staffs are still in culture shock!
Merchandise are “good looking” but where’s the merchandiser when you need one? the only one we see is the stupid “Teh Boh” people that “halau” me from taking photos hahahahaha
Normal shop houses store in Kuching has better electrical department! More choice! Where’s the LCD? Plasmas? Where are brand name goods? Sony? Pioneer? Where’s the good looking fridge? Ohh no… so disappointed. And why the hack is the electrical department seems like a store room? Why look like Ngui Kee or Everise ah?

The crowd is wow!
Lot of nice fruits but very normal!
Lot of can foods & fresh food!
The whole thing that makes this hypermarket go wow is the “hugeness” was it more than 200, 000 square feet? (Some one, any one? please let me know.)
