Stop fly­ing to Ber­jaya Times Square! 3D movies expe­ri­ence is right here, in the heart of cap­i­tal city of Sarawak, Kuch­ing. Maybe I am over exag­ger­ated; IMAX may still rule the 3D world. MBO spend a good deal of money forcibly, maybe? I heard that The Spring man­age­ment is tough to please when mak­ing sure their mall stay high class. MBO did a great job spend­ing that money and bring­ing us the one and only Dig­i­tal 3D Cine­plex expe­ri­ence in Kuch­ing! I love movies! I love high-tech cin­e­mas! Watch­ing a full length 3D is just so awesome!

G-FORCE 3D, RM20

I pay for G-FORCE DISNEY DIGITAL 3D @ tick­et­ing kiosk, awe­some! Absolutely con­ve­nience! MBO charged RM19/ticket for mem­ber and RM20/ticket for non mem­ber. Though the price is almost equal to GSC Gold Class ticket and or 8 bowls of Laksa Sarawak/ Kolok Mee, it’s still bet­ter than Star­buck coffees.

G-FORCE 3D

You will be given 3D glasses prior enter­ing the Cine­plex and you have to return em’ when you done using. Still keep­ing Han­nah Mon­tana & Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Tour 3-D glasses? Want to give it a try? This is a NO THX hall, real bum­mer! MBO did not equip the best sil­ver screen to their entire 8 Cine­plex. Hall 5 is uniquely large and bet­ter screen. Spaces are cozy right down to between the legs and should not dis­tract love birds and movie goers enjoy­ing the sharp and real­is­tic cin­e­matic expe­ri­ence. I don’t think many of you would care but I just men­tion it any­how, Hall 3, 5 thumb up. Hall 6, 7 thumb down! I am yet to visit the remain­ing 4 halls. Check out these 3D images from hall 5 screen. Awe­some! There were few 3D movies trailer shown, Avatar, Cloudy with a chance of Meat Balls (what a weird and won­der­ful long movie title!) and etc… Awesome!

I am upmost par­tic­u­lar with sound sys­tem when watch­ing movie. MBO pro­vide a sat­is­fac­tory sounds sys­tem, I said sat­is­fac­tory because Dolby Dig­i­tal Sys­tem has become a norm although DTS and SDDS setup world really kick some ass for a change! I had a great time with the 3D cin­e­matic expe­ri­ence, really awe­some! Avatar would be my next wish list.

MBO has all the advan­tage over it com­peti­tor, been the first oper­a­tor to bring 3D cin­e­matic and the con­ve­nience of tick­et­ing kiosk to Kuch­ing should put MBO on top list.

Per­son­ally I do not think they will last before some­one else tak­ing over. I men­tion this because, hav­ing all the best equip­ment and best loca­tion doesn’t make you the best. Not always…

MBO Cine­plex, Lobby.

Two impor­tant things, ser­vice and clean­li­ness, time will tell MBO would be just another unpleas­ant odor from lobby to toi­let, filthy car­pet with dusty hall or the true cham­pion, the best Kuch­ing can get!
