Like many of you, I was shop­ping around look­ing for CNY foods, Snack, cook­ies, cards, cloths, (chick­ens, ducks, porks?) and etc… So how dif­fer­ent is this year com­par­ing to last year and the year before and the year before that? The hol­i­day mood is moody.

I greet one of the lady boss who sell CD & DVD “Gong Xi Fa Chai”! She responded to me say it would be bet­ter for 心想事成！ (xīn xiǎng shì chéng ) Mean­ing bet­ter to dream comes true than “Fa Chai” good wealth! Ah… some­time I just am impressed by busi­ness­men and gal! They are not wrong at all, 2009 is going to be harder than 2008! In fact Q1 of 2008 was still fantastic!

I grew up here so I kinda love this place although there are nicer shop­ping places around

First, this is 6! Sick! My boss uses open ended ques­tion to iden­tify my char­ac­ter­is­tic 2 days ago. This ther­apy is good for one thing and one thing only – are you going or are you not? Obvi­ously, this is the best way to ask every­one to self lay off to save the company’s money. Mind you, it saves you headache and hygienically/eco save the lengthy paper work too.

Any­way, more peo­ple will lose their job soon! I have got to worry about my bills, my mom’s monthly med­ical for her dia­betic med­i­cine, my 3 sis­ters and a brother who is still study­ing. I’m the fam­ily man! I wish my dad is still alive! I think he took a lit­tle bit too long on the vaca­tion don’t you think so? (Joking)

Sec­ond, on New Year day I when out to with friends and I had a bot­tle of Heineken. I drink occa­sion­ally for spe­cial occa­sion. So this is how I look like… Don’t do what I do! This is inappropriate!

While I am sad + stress + enjoy­ing + space out some time on that table on a beau­ti­ful morn­ing of 1st Jan 2009. I still man­age to make friends! Ah… life is so much beau­ti­ful when we were young!
