White Rajahs and the Fort Margarita Kuching

The last time I vis­ited Fort Mar­garita prob­a­bly some 20 years ago. Believe it or not, Fort Mar­garita is only less than 20 min­utes from Sarawak River. Why would Kuch­ing peo­ple like myself haven’t been vis­it­ing the world his­toric places is unthinkable.

A pic­ture above was inspired by the return of the great-great-grandson of Sarawak’s sec­ond White Rajah, Charles Brooke to Sarawak. Jason Brooke’s grand­fa­ther rules Sarawak as a king “Rajah” from 1841 – 1946.
