DUN Kuching

This is the heart of the Kuching city. As you can see the DUN or Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Sarawak is at the last stage of their construction. I wonder why politicians need such a grand palace with the expense of the people’s money. I pay my taxes and yet for the pass few years my table are small and my chairs haven’t been refurbish and worse my office smell the old smell :)

Front left of the picture is Buddhist temple and in between you are looking at the old buildings. I think old enough to call it a historic building.

So that building is a DUN Sarawak building… I asked the taxi driver about it when I was in Kuching recently. He didn’t even know what that building is. :)
