DUN Kuching

This is the heart of the Kuching city. As you can see the DUN or Dewan Undangan Negeri (DUN) Sarawak is at the last stage of their construction. I wonder why politicians need such a grand palace with the expense of the people’s money. I pay my taxes and yet for the pass few years my table are small and my chairs haven’t been refurbish and worse my office smell the old smell
Front left of the picture is Buddhist temple and in between you are looking at the old buildings. I think old enough to call it a historic building.

WoW…simply beautifully captured shots & lovely knowing about the place!
Hello Kalyan,
Thanks for the encouragement
I love what you capture in India, it so beautiful. I guess it’s true, picture can tell a thousand words! Your picture simply stunning.
thank you for your visit please do come back for more
hehehehe
So that building is a DUN Sarawak building… I asked the taxi driver about it when I was in Kuching recently. He didn’t even know what that building is.
Chegu,
LOL I think lot of people in Kuching still not knowing what it for too
I think most of us just don’t give attention since it won’t benefit us so much in a way
it’s nice to have you visiting Kuching! I can see you are very cheerful and hyper energetic with all the photos on your blog
you must have brought back great memories.
Cheers and thanks for visiting.
