tHe Spring Kuching @ Photos

The Spring InteriorI took these photos on Jan 12, 2008. If you have not been to The Spring, well this is for you. The idea of shopping mall in Kuching is over whelming. I pay a visit again last saturday, more shops were open @ HSL, Sony & etc… you can head over to both shops now for their 32 inches LCD promotion.

Both Samsung & Sony 32 inches LCD is for only RM2888 - RM3300! If you know what you are looking for, these 2 selection might fit the bill for your Chinese New Year new shinning screen!

Patrons love to throw coins into the water fountain. Rauth commented that it’s was a superstition and yeah I totally agreed. Anyway, the Spring management frequently has to stop the fountain to clean up the coins to ensure the water fountain are in good working condition. Well, after all, this water fountain was not design for the coins throwing.

More shops

To me, “PCiMAGE” is wasting space at the Spring. Have you been to their branch at Wisma Saberkas? I think you know what I mean.

The Spring is really a great place to “waste time” and window shopping. Your weekend would never be the same again with tHe Spring.

    NICE!

As you know, I always enjoy pictures from places in the world that are far and away from my own. It is easy sometimes to think that what you see on a day to day basis is what the entire planet is like. The earth is a very diverse group of communities and cultures … all of which I have an interest in becoming more aware of. My dream is to travel the world.

Thanks for these great photos of places that you visit. Images that I might have never seen without your blog as the conduit.

    Speedy,

You will have your dream come true! It’s not far from coming true if you coming to Malaysia or other part of Asia. Our money conversions vs. US dollars are very low so you can take this opportunity to travel. Plus our foods and hotels are cheap compare to any other country. Your dream will come true my friend :)

    Cheers

    Johnny Ong!

Hey Happy New Year man! Actually I was surprise to see the 32 inches price fall like “durian” the same thing happen to 20 – 21 inches LCD monitor years ago. Anyway it’s a good thing for the consumer.

I have a bit of worry for the enormous chemical waste when the LCD, Plasma reaches it shelf life. In Malaysia, we do not have a proper way for this type of waste. I haven’t heard of one yet, maybe there is one. Dell’s Singapore recycle program allows users to send their old lappy and desktop for recycle purposes.

I love to have a 32inches or 42 inches but I guess I will have to wait for the cheaper full HD panel. Imagine my HTPC equipped with 2 NVIDIA 9 series and a full HD panel setup! Woooo should be stunning! OMG, I’m dreaming already! *Laugh* I think the word “OMG” would be mindlessly swore during game play and movie watching! Gosh! Stop dreaming Netster!

Cheers Johnny, you have a great CNY!
